If you practise yoga you may be familiar with the concept of the seven chakras and their distinct colours. In this piece I have crafted the symbols in gold leaf, and found gorgeous, vibrant colours which evoke the energy of the Chakras. They are mounted vertically to reflect the positioning of the Chakras in the body.

Embossed mixed media, acrylic & 24k gold leaf on 600gsm cotton paper. Seven small individual artworks, each 12 x 12cm, float mounted in a lime-waxed ash box frame.
